Formly started with a simple frustration: there was no app actually built for Pilates instructors. Not a generic class planner with a Pilates filter. Not a personal training app with a new label. Something purpose-built, from the ground up, for the way we actually teach.

WHY FORMLY EXISTS

The tools weren't built for us.

Every Pilates instructor knows the drill. You're cobbling together notes apps, spreadsheets, and palm cards just to get through a class. You're rewriting the same sequences from memory. You're trying to remember which client has a shoulder injury while you're mid-reformer.

The apps that exist were built for gyms, for personal trainers, for generic fitness classes. Pilates instructors were an afterthought — if we were thought of at all.

Meet the Founder

Hi I’m Kat

I'm a certified Pilates instructor based on the Gold Coast. I also work full time and study psychology — which is a long way of saying I know what it's like to have a lot on your plate.

I built Formly from scratch — brand, design, and code — because I wanted a planning tool I'd actually use. Something that fit the real rhythm of teaching, not a watered-down version of someone else's fitness app.
